To see a photograph in its actual (larger) size, click/tap it, and it will be opened in a lightbox or a separate tab.

Here you can find some photographs of me in different periods of life. It is not easy to distinguish between photos with me alone and those with my family and friends. However, here I am presented, though in my life I am rather a photographer than a photo object.

2018.12.29 During the company's celebration of the New 2019 Year in “Voznesenskaya Sloboda”; a little bit farther and at the left there is my colleague, a software developer.
2018.12.29 Standing with the “Voznesenskaya Sloboda” New 2019 Year tree before the company's celebration.
2018.12.29 Sitting with the “Voznesenskaya Sloboda” New 2019 Year tree before the company's celebration.
2018.12.28 In the Vladimir Gubernatorial Symphony Orchestra there are a lot of drums, and what is the name of these, I did not bother to find out… :-(?).
2018.12.28 A contrabass (of the Vladimir Gubernatorial Symphony Orchestra) is not a violin, you cannot hold it on a shoulder!.. 😊
2018.12.28 In the next ”Night in Orchestra” (in the Vladimir Gubernatorial Symphony one) I learned that blowing into a French horn with a sound is not so easy!..
2018.11.30 At the long-awaited live concert of the “DDT” group (Russian rock) in Vladimir.
2018.09.10 In the green fields of Tel Aviv near the Mediterranean Sea and a very comfortable beach, where only sun loungers are paid.
2018.09.10 A view from the old port of Jaffa to the Mediterranean Sea and modern Tel Aviv.
2018.09.10 Another welcome message for the Old Jaffa – and also in 3 languages (Hebrew, Arabic and English).
2018.09.10 Since the Jewish Jaffa is not only an ancient port but also acting one, many things there is connected to the sea (Mediterranean).
2018.09.10 Jaffa is one of the main ports of ancient Israel (this is where the ships came with pilgrims going to Jerusalem) and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.
2018.09.10 An unusual tub with a tree near a shop in the Old Jaffa (Tel Aviv) in the form of a head with legs.
2018.09.10 In the Old Jaffa (a part of Tel Aviv – Yafo) even a electric power transformer building welcomes you; the lighthouse is a symbol of the ancient port.
2018.09.10 The “Whale” fountain in the Old Jaffa (Tel Aviv), of course, is filled with coins thrown into it “for good luck”.
2018.09.10 That “Floating Orange Tree” by Israeli artist Ran Morin in the Old Jaffa (Tel Aviv), which is actually stunted and more like a tangerine tree.
2018.09.10 The quintessence of Christianity – in one phrase, “God Is Love”, framed by flowers in the Old Jaffa, on Jewish land, where the religion if from.
2018.09.10 In front of the Clock Tower on the way to the Old Jaffa, nowadays a part of Tel Aviv (or of the “double city” of Tel Aviv – Yafo).
2018.09.10 On the Yossi Carmel Square in Tel Aviv, in addition to the circular motion, there are some Greek columns (at the left).
2018.09.10 The only interesting thing here in the palm, and the rest of the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station is unremarkable, except for its dirt.
2018.09.09 A fountain and waterfall in a park in the Jewish neighbourhood Yemin Moshe in Jeruasalem.
2018.09.09 A strange iron sculpture by Gedalia Suchowolski (Sucho) in the Jewish neighbourhood Yemin Moshe in Jeruasalem.
2018.09.09 Freelancer of the Israeli army in a civilian dress but keeping the military cap :-) in front of the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
2018.09.09 We were not admitted to Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Muslim part of the Old City of Jerusalem, so here is only a photograph of its dome outside the walls of the Old City.
2018.09.09 A view from the Muslim cemetery in front of the Golden Gate of Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives with Jewish cemeteries.
2018.09.09 It is funny but this Golden Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem was walled up by the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent who did not believe in the Messiah that would come through this gate.
2018.09.09 At the Muslim cemetery outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem next to the walled up Golden Gate.
2018.09.09 Herod, after whom this gate of Jerusalem is named, is not that Herod the Great but his son, Herod Antipas.
2018.09.09 Herod's Gate is another gate to the Old City of Jerusalem, namely to the Muslim Quarter.
2018.09.09 Near the alternative burial place of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem (according to the English general Charles Gordon) – the Garden Tomb.
2018.09.09 With a cute military woman of the Israeli army (girls there are to be conscripted) in Jerusalem.
2018.09.09 Via Dolorosa of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem, Stations #14: Jesus is placed in the tomb; the Rotunda and Aedicule is built above it inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

2018.09.09 Via Dolorosa of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem, Station #2: Jesus is given His cross.
2018.09.09 Via Dolorosa of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem, Station #1: Pilate sentences Christ.
2018.09.09 At the entrance to the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in the Old City of Jerusalem, built over the cave where she was born.
2018.09.09 Under the arch and at the sign of the Lions' Gate to the Old City of Jerusalem.
2018.09.09 Downstairs to the cave Church of the Sepulchre of Saint Mary in Gethsemane (Jerusalem), where the Tomb of the Virgin Mary is located.
2018.09.09 The multicolored Church of All Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem was built in 1924 using funds donated by Catholics of 12 countries.
2018.09.09 At the gate of the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem, where Judas betrayed Jesus Christ.
2018.09.09 In a natural rock grotto of the Kidron Valley near the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
2018.09.09 Tomb of Benei Hezir is the oldest of the 4 giant tombs in the Kidron Valley near the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, and resembles a Greek temple.
2018.09.09 The Tomb of Zechariah in the Kidron Valley near the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem is completely carved out of the solid rock and resembles the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs.
2018.09.09 A view from the lowland of the “City of David” (ancient settlement of Jerusalem) to the Mount of Olives.
2018.09.09 At the excavations of the ancient “City of David” – the oldest settlement of Jerusalem where King David built his palace.
2018.09.09 The Dung Gate to the Old City of Jerusalem, contrary to its name, looks very decent.
2018.09.09 A view along the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem to Dome of the Rock (above my head).
2018.09.09 A view from the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem to the down and the hilly surroundings.
2018.09.09 A view from the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives (at the left) and the neighboring hill (at the right).
2018.09.09 Jews are skilled to make signs of historical objects (the Zion Gate in this case) so organically combined with them!.. and, as it must be, in 3 languages: English, Arabic and Hebrew.
2018.09.09 The Zion Gate is another gate to the Old City of Jerusalem which connects the Jewish and Armenian Quarters with the Mount Zion.
2018.09.09 The Mount Zion in Jerusalem in fact is not a mountain at all – just as a hill, which is quite deserted on its top.
2018.09.09 The Cenacle aka the Upper Room is a room in the David's Tomb Compound in Jerusalem where the Last Supper of Jesus took place.
2018.09.09 Abbey of the Dormition on the Mount Zion in Jerusalem is an abbey and the name of a German Benedictine community.
2018.09.09 Jerusalem University College is a theological academic institution formerly known as the American (!) Institute of Holy Land Studies.
2018.09.09 A view of the Old City of Jerusalem, particularly, the Mount Zion from the Mishkenot Sha'ananim Jewish neighborhood.
2018.09.09 According to Israeli sculptor Igael Tumarkin, “A Monument of Peace” in Jerusalem should look like a knot of miscellaneous weapons.
2018.09.09 In the HaMesila Park of Jerusalem there a free book-crossing point where you can find something to read… if you understand Hebrew. 😊
2018.09.09 In the area of Jerusalem where we lived there was an old train track which was turned into a footpath and the HaMesila Park.
2018.09.08 If somebody did not guess, “Jlm” is short for “Jerusalem”.
2018.09.08 That is what I definitely liked in the streets of Jerusalem – this sofa at an intersection 😮 where you can sit and relax…
2018.09.08 Going downstairs to the Milk Grotto, where the Mother of God breast-fed the baby Jesus and dropped some of her milk.
2018.09.08 It is nice to sit on the Manger Square in front of the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem, to drink real coffee with cardamom, prepared by an Arab gaffer…
2018.09.08 You thought Casanova was an adventurer and a lover hero? :-) quite the contrary – the most modest Franciscan house for pilgrims.
2018.09.08 A view of the now Arab Bethlehem from the Basilica of the Nativity.
2018.09.08 In one of the galleries of the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem you can find full-size Saint George killing the dragon.
2018.09.08 This picture in one of the galleries of the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem just denotes all this place.
2018.09.08 Thanks to one good Russian-speaking Arab who helped to get to the Bethlehem cave, where Christ was born, without waiting in the queue.
2018.09.08 On a special white-paper wall in the Basilica of the Nativity someone wrote my name – prophecy? 😊
2018.09.08 In front of the altar in the Basilica of the Nativity – the church built above the birthplace of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.
2018.09.08 Through the narrow streets of the Old City of Jerusalem you can move either on foot or by some mini transport like a golf car.
2018.09.08 A bottom view of one side of the majestic Jaffa Gate – an entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem.
2018.09.08 A view from the observation deck at the Jerusalem Music Center to the Old City at the Jaffa Gate.
2018.09.08 A view from the observation deck at the Jerusalem Music Center to the Old City (at the left) and the south of Jerusalem.
2018.09.08 I am pulling a cat's tail :-) more precisely, two cats, more precisely, lionesses – sculptures of the Linons Fountain in the Bloomfield park of Jerusalem.
2018.09.08 Gasoline prices in Jerusalem, particularly, the price of the 95th (which in Russia costs aboге $0.67/l) is about $1.78/l. 😮
2018.09.08 Fire hydrants in Jerusalem are also not typical – yellow, not red, like everyone else; this one has sad “eyes”.
2018.09.08 Instead of paper-like purple flowers without any smell, which are found everywhere in the southern countries, in Jerusalem there are these lilac ones.
2018.09.08 Early in the morning at the gate of an ordinary courtyard with houses made of the same Jerusalem stone.
2018.09.07 The Montefiore Windmill, built in 1857, still looks spectacular.
2018.09.07 Near the Old City of Jerusalem, in a park in front of the Mishkenot Sha'ananim Jewish neighborhood there is a globe like this.
2018.09.07 In front of the most frequently visited gate of my exit from the Old City of Jerusalem – the Jaffa Gate.
2018.09.07 In narrow stone streets of the Old City of Jerusalem with a mess of wires it is cozy anyway, and even ramps are almost everywhere.
2018.09.07 I put a kippah (given to me free of charge on the approach to the Western Wall) on my head, took up the Torah – am I not a Jew? 😊
2018.09.07 The Western Wall of the Jerusalem Temple is the place where you unintentionally recall sad things… :'-(.
2018.09.07 The first impression of the Old City of Jerusalem is that it looks like a dirty Bazaar; in this open-air museum they sell and live the way it was thousands of years ago.
2018.09.07 In front of the most frequently visited gate of my entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem – the Damascus Gate.
2018.09.07 The lion in front of a Jerusalem police department in the Moscow Square is peeled off completely. :-(
2018.09.07 A Russian even in Jerusalem will find the Moscow Square. 😊
2018.09.07 I saddled a strange donkey sculpture made of the pipes, though could sit on an equally strange chair with an appendage – and all this in front of the “Kikar Hamusica” art gallery in the street of Yoel Moshe Salomon in Jerusalem.
2018.09.07 Over the street of Yoel Moshe Salomon in Jerusalem there are colored umbrellas hanging, just like in the Portuguese city of Agueda in 2011 (where the tradition is from).
2018.09.07 I am twisting the handle of a giant gramophone in Ben Yehuda Street of Jerusalem, because this is the only way to make it sound (really).
2018.09.07 Ben Yehuda Street is one of the central streets of Jerusalem, mostly pedestrian, and Eliezer Ben-Yehuda is a Hebrew lexicographer and newspaper editor, the founder of the revival of the Hebrew language.
2018.09.07 An “incubator theater” in Jerusalem is obviously the place where one can incubate a yellow duckling. 😊
2018.09.07 For Jerusalem streets it is typical to use the same stone in construction/decoration of houses and a completely infernal mess of wires.
2018.09.07 The main headdress of male Jews (who are not hasids) – kippah, also know as yarmulke – is sold in Jerusalem in a variety of colors and materials.
2018.09.07 To visit Jerusalem and not to take a picture with a real hasid would be a mistake (though it is not easy, because it seems that tourists for them are like annoying flies).
2018.09.07 The jerusalemite I thought was a police officer turned out to be a representative of the Israel's national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance and blood bank service “Magen David Adom”.
2018.09.07 If I correctly understood the explanation of a jerusalemite, these cyclopean constructions are for flowers (in their season).
2018.09.07 Horizontal view of the Dead Sea from the Kalia Beach's observation deck.
2018.09.07 Vertical view of the Dead Sea from the Kalia Beach's observation deck.
2018.09.07 Infographics of world heights with me at -420 m relative to the sea level (not of the Dead Sea but of a conditional one).
2018.09.07 That “the lowest bar in the world” could actually be even lower – now it is not at the lowest point of the Dead Sea's coast.
2018.09.07 The cover title of the magazine: “Chill Out in Jerusalem” – though in fact here I am at the Dead Sea.
2018.09.07 The Russian ruble claims to be a convertible currency, so it can come to Israel, right into the Dead Sea. 😊
2018.09.07 When you lie on the water of the Dead Sea, you experience an unusual feeling of “violation” of physics laws (which work as usual in this super salty sea).
2018.09.07 A “classic” photograph with reading on the water, which every visitor of the Dead Sea should take; the camera angle #3.
2018.09.07 A “classic” photograph with reading on the water, which every visitor of the Dead Sea should take; the camera angle #2.
2018.09.07 A “classic” photograph with reading on the water, which every visitor of the Dead Sea should take; the camera angle #1.
2018.09.07 Who can guess why I brought a magazine to swim in the Dead Sea? ;-)
2018.09.07 What we thought was a “Jewish” dressing room (without doors!) on the shore of the Dead Sea turned out to be a future shower. 😊
2018.09.07 On the territory of one of the paid beaches of the Dead Sea (it is behind me) – the Kalia Beach.
2018.09.07 Next to the Dead Sea (it is behind me) there is “the lowest bar in the world”.
2018.09.07 One of supposedly former camel sheds by the Dead Sea is bizarrely painted with a “small talk” on mortality. 😊
2018.09.07 Supposedly a former military checkpoint by the Dead Sea (that is between Israel, Palestine and Jordan).
2018.09.07 The sign that greets those who arrive to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth, and the sea is behind me.
2018.09.07 I have just got off the bus that took me to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth.
2018.09.07 At the headquarters of the National Jewish Council for Disabilities, Yachad Israel, in Jerusalem.
2018.09.07 Early in the morning in a street of Jerusalem against the background of a horse on a pole.
2018.09.06 I have just come to Jerusalem from the Ben Gurion Airport.
2018.09.06 The best snack at a Turkish airport is the Turkish coffee and simit bagel.
2018.09.06 The 2 chairs I definitely could not sit on. 😊
2018.09.06 I am quickly stepping inside the endless Ataturk airport.
2018.09.02 Visiting a friend at his dacha sized as a house.
2018.07.13 I am firing accurately at an enemy in the forest of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 Like Rambo, only with a laser tag gun, in the forest of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 I am portraing thoughtfulness by a birch tree on the picturesque territory of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 I am trying to gobble birds' (or squirrels'?) food :-) in the forest of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 Only my head between the bright spruces by a building of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 I am posing, standing on a scooter on the picturesque territory of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 Virage on a scooter on the territory of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 I am riding a scooter on the territory of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 On one of the giant “family” swings of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.07.13 On the porch of a building of the “Pearl of the Golden Ring” park hotel.
2018.06.20 Against the background of the landscape at the church of Elijah the Prophet in Glukhovo (Orekhovo) of the Vladimir region, Russia.
2018.06.20 At the gate and signs of “the most beautiful village” – the memorial house and museum of Zhukovsky.
2018.06.20 At the MiG-17's air intake by the memorial house and museum of Zhukovsky.
2018.06.11 For me the war in the Persian Gulf was only with waves :-), and only a few times.
2018.06.10 The Persian Gulf, previously known to me as the place of the “Desert Storm” military operation, actually has shown itself as peaceful and hospitable.
2018.06.07 I tried to fit the photo frame called Dubai Frame but it seems I did this not the best way. 😊
2018.06.07 In hot Dubai cats let you pet them not because they are tame but because of the heat they have no strength to escape. 😊
2018.06.07 Jumeirah Mosque in Dubai was more hospitable for me – I visited it inside.
2018.06.07 I don't like to be photographed in glasses but new jeans in a fitting room are quite a reason. :-D
2018.06.06 On the ladder of one of the exhibits of the museum of Arab aviation in Sharjah.
2018.06.06 One-eyed sea devil. 😊
2018.06.06 It turned out that sea urchins can be kept on hand not being afraid to get hurt!
2018.06.05 As if I am drinking camel milk in the Dubai Mall (because actually I have already drunk it – almost like cow's one).
2018.06.05 I was inside and the top of Burj Khalifa, and here I am outside and at the foot of this beauty and the masterpiece of modern architecture!
2018.06.05 The Burj Khalifa international construction team and I who have just come down from it.
2018.06.05 And the last panoramic view from Burj Khalifa with me leaning not on the glass (it is scary), but on the beam between.
2018.06.05 How many monotonous photos from Burj Khalifa are there? But here you can see 2 EMAAR skyscrapers under construction, united by… a ship!..
2018.06.05 This is me only on the 124th floor of 163, at the height of 452 meters of 828!
2018.06.05 Was there a view from Burj Khalifa with me sitting yet? no? There it is! 😊
2018.06.05 A view from Burj Khalifa that shows complex road junctions and gives understanding that it is the skyscraper of skyscrapers.
2018.06.05 Another view from Burj Khalifa to the desert with skyscrapers, in which it stands.
2018.06.05 I understand the English warning on the glass a little bit so I stopped to extend my arms outside Burj Khalifa. 😊
2018.06.05 On the Burj Khalifa's glass there is a warning in Arabic that you should not extend arms outside but can Russians read the Arabic script? 😊
2018.06.05 On one of the skyscrapers smaller than Burj Khalifa there is the name of its owner and the owner of many other skyscrapers, the biggest developer in the Emirates – the EMAAR company.
2018.06.05 One of the views from Burj Khalifa is giving the understanding of that other skyscrapers are just small fries being compared to it!
2018.06.05 A model of the world's tallest building – Burj Khalifa – on the way to lifts going to its top.
2018.06.04 There are skyscrapers made of glass and concrete behind me, and a mosque in front of me.
2018.06.04 By al Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal Mosque, which I was not let into, as a non-Muslim. :-(
2018.06.04 At the Cultural Square of Sharjah with its famous Koran monument.
2018.06.04 With H. H. Ruler's Office in the background; the ruler of the Sharjah emirate is also called “emir”.
2018.06.04 Sometimes I have to pretend reading… though indeed you I do not understand a word of Arabic script. :-(
2018.06.04 With the Sharjah Library in the background.
2018.06.04 This is the real Cultural Palace! at the Emirates level!..
2018.06.03 With Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the background – one of the biggest mosques in the world, which we could not get into.
2018.06.02 Lord of the magical Black Stones of Hinghema at Al Khan beach in Sharjah.
2018.06.01 The Dubai Marina elite district. If I had an apartment there, I would have this bay instead of a garage, and a yacht instead of a car. 😊
2018.06.01 This is how elite villas look like on the “branches” of the Palm Jumeirah artificial island and that person who has no such a villa there. :-(
2018.06.01 This Hyundai Sonata helped us to learn places of interest and travel through the United Arab Emirates (“UAE” on its state number).
2018.06.01 One of the most expensive hotels in the world, Atlantis the Palm, has the arch hole in its center, shaped like a church's dome, and a head perfectly fits it. 😊
2018.06.01 With Atlantis the Palm in the background – one of the most expensive hotels in the world, with the world's most expensive Royal Bridge Suite.
2018.06.01 Mere mortals (without an excursion) are not allowed to enter the territory of the 7-stars sail-shaped hotel, so they have to be photographed at the approaches.
2018.06.01 That famous 3-stars sail-shaped hotel, with which everyone takes photos being in Dubai, in the haze of the summer day heat does not look as bright as on postcards.
2018.06.01 At 2 p. m. the sun in the Emirates is so bright so it is hard to open eyes for a photograph in the Dubai fountains waiting for an evening.
2018.06.01 It is not easy to fit the world's tallest building – Burj Khalifa – into the frame, even if the frame is vertical!
2018.06.01 In the giant glass wall of the Dubai Mall aquarium there are storeys of the trade center reflecting, and inside it there are fishes swimming.
2018.06.01 There, behind the glass wall of the Dubai Mall aquarium, there are such sea monster swimming, so I am shocked! 😮
2018.06.01 Like Adriano Celentano :-) with the giant aquarium of the Dubai Mall in the background.
2018.06.01 There are some athletes falling along the artificial waterfall in the Dubai Mall, while a Russian man thinks they are Gagarins (from the Gagarin square in Moscow). 😊
2018.05.31 There are a lot of skyscrapers in Sharjah, and I am so little one! 😊
2018.05.31 An example of a harmonious combination of modern urban architecture with traditional religious one (mosques) along al Kasba channel in Sharjah.
2018.05.31 Al Qasba is one of the best pedestrian zones for an evening promenade in Sharjah, along the same-name channel.
2018.05.31 Ah-argh!.. 😮 A giant fish from the Sharjah Aquarium is trying to bite off my arm!
2018.05.31 In the Emirates I could save up some money only for a small yacht. 😊
2018.05.30 Beach patrol. 😊
2018.05.30 A view of the hot Sharjah from our hotel's roof. There is the left half of the M-shaped building at the right edge.
2018.05.30 In the end of the touristic season in the Emirates the sun was so bright so that the horizon was melting in some places, and the sky was smoothly turning into the sea (the Persian Gulf).
2018.05.30 On vacation you can have rest from the regular shaving. 😊
2018.05.29 In the last charter to the Emirates (the UAE) there were a lot of free places and sleeping pillows. 😊
2018.05.12 One of the honorary guests at the Vladimir book festival called “BooFest” were Michael Veller, a quite famous Russian writer, whose autograph is now in my copy of his book “Everything About Life”.
2018.05.09 Not served in army, especially in the times of the Degtyarev's handheld machine gun, is impressed by its mass.
